Job Description

Endpoint Automation Solutions has an excellent opportunity for an entry level candidate or someone with just a few years of experience to work in their Customer Support department.  The incumbent will offer support and technical assistance to customers using software, hardware, or other computer systems and need help completing tasks or troubleshooting problems through diagnostic tests and remote access to their computers.

You will be supporting customers with software products that are developed by Endpoint.

Key Job Duties include but not limited to:

  • Customer Service Skills – Ability to manage multiple customer issues or questions and a sense of ownership for resolving them in a timely manner.
  • Communication – Written and verbal communication skills are a must for both internal and external customers.
  • Self- motivator – Desire to take on additional responsibilities as needed.
  • System Testing – Assist with testing client solutions as needed. This would include full system testing or testing individual change requests.
  • Support/Problem Solving – Ability to troubleshoot software issues by stepping through code and analyzing database calls.
  • Analytical Skills – Ability to analyze client issues and communicate to the client the plan of action to resolve issues.
  • Team Oriented – Ability to work as a partner in a time sensitive environment to achieve necessary goals.
  • Training – Ability to train in new support engineers and assist less experienced techs with support cases.

Skills and Qualifications: 

  • Ability to effectively communicate in a professional work environment
  • Experience with Microsoft .NET Framework (C#)
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server queries, stored procedures, profiler, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio
  • Microsoft Office
  • Ability to learn new technologies quickly in an ongoing working environment
  • Good client communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Customer service/support experience
  • Experience in QA on software products
  • industry experience in manufacturing and warehousing
  • WMS experience
  • Knowledge of Team Foundation Services and Visual Studio Online (VSTS)
  • Experience in testing complex Microsoft systems
  • Printer configuration knowledge
  • Application configuration settings
  • Understanding of how the various components of a development environment work
  • Skills in developing with Microsoft .NET Framework, C#, web services, RESTful APIs, JSON, and ASP .NET
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Reporting Services
  • Experience with other Microsoft Development tools
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics GP and Power Platform

Required Education:

Bachelor’s or associate degree in computer science or similar discipline or comparable work experience.

Other Requirements:

Customer Service experience desirable.

Manufacturing experience desirable.

Warehouse and distribution experience desirable.

Work Environment:

The working conditions offer a desk-centered workspace equipped with a computer, making it suitable for both office and remote work settings. Additionally, the integration of technology enables efficient task execution and communication. Workflow management strikes a balance between independent work and collaboration, necessitating adaptability to effectively navigate the different dynamics of both remote and office environments.

Physical Requirements:

The job requires both prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer, as well as the ability to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

Position Type and Hours of Work:

This is a full-time salaried position, with the expectation that the employee will work a minimum of 8 hours per day within regular business hours.
