POSITION SUMMARY

The Sr. Marketing Specialist supports the planning, execution, and measurement of marketing initiatives across RealTruck’s marketing organization. This role partners with teams spanning Marketing Activation, Brand Marketing, Creative, Industrial Design, Package Management, and Ecommerce to help drive projects from concept through completion—ensuring timelines, budgets, assets, and cross-functional deliverables stay on track.

CORE FUNCTIONS

Marketing Program & Campaign Management

  • Support the planning and execution of multi-channel marketing programs, including retail activations, brand campaigns, product launches, creative initiatives, and ecommerce efforts.
  • Coordinate campaign builds, content development, product releases, creative production, and go-to-market rollouts.
  • Maintain visibility into project readiness, asset inventories, dependencies, and launch requirements across active marketing initiatives.

Project Planning/Management & Execution

  • Create, maintain, and manage multiple project plans, schedules, timelines, trackers, and status reports to ensure deliverables are completed on time and within scope.
  • Track project milestones, approvals, open issues, risks, and next steps across multiple concurrent projects.
  • Proactively manage project timelines to ensure assets are proofed, reviewed, approved, released, and launched according to schedule.
  • Coordinate deliverables and workflow activities to support successful execution from project kickoff through completion.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Communication

  • Partner with stakeholders across Marketing, Creative, Sales, Package, and Operations teams to align priorities, communicate project status, and support cross-functional execution.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external partners regarding creative assets, production schedules, approvals, and launch readiness.
  • Clearly communicate project schedules, expectations, and priorities to ensure teams remain focused on critical deliverables.
  • Coordinate asset handoffs and deliveries between on-site and off-site Creative teams to maintain project continuity and production momentum.

Resource Coordination & Accountability

  • Prioritize tasks based on project needs, timelines, and business priorities, delegating responsibilities to ensure efficient execution.
  • Drive accountability across internal teams, clients, vendors, agencies, and production partners to meet deadlines and deliver project objectives.
  • Proactively identify risks, dependencies, and potential roadblocks, escalating issues as needed to maintain project progress

Vendor & Agency Management

  • Support relationships with external agencies, vendors, and production partners.
  • Coordinate communications related to production schedules, design deliverables, fulfillment activities, and campaign support requirements.

Risk Management & Accountability

  • Proactively identify project risks, dependencies, and potential delays.
  • Drive accountability across internal and external stakeholders to meet deadlines and business objectives.
  • Escalate critical issues and recommend solutions to maintain project momentum.

Quality Assurance & Process Management

  • Own and oversee quality control processes to ensure all marketing assets are properly reviewed, proofed, approved, and released according to established standards.
  • Oversee proofing, review, approval, and release workflows to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with brand standards.
  • Maintain process discipline and governance to support high-quality execution across all marketing initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field is required or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in marketing, project management, creative operations, brand management, product marketing, or business operations
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams across creative, brand, product, ecommerce, sales, and operations functions
  • Familiarity with one or more marketing disciplines: retail/trade marketing, brand or campaign management, creative production, industrial or packaging design, product management, or ecommerce
  • Understanding of marketing workflows, creative development processes, product lifecycle management, or digital commerce operations
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Smartsheet, Wrike, Asana, or similar project management and reporting tools

Skills, Abilities, and Knowledge

  • Basic proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Understanding of creative development processes.
  • Strong leadership and collaboration skills to drive results within various client and vendor teams.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; skilled in Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to use basic office computer skills.
  • Ability to present work to high level stakeholders and top management.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical applications.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of industry trends, content strategy, design concepts, and industry best practices.

Travel

  • Occasional travel may be required.

  • Prioritization & Time Management – Can balance urgent requests, long-term planning, and multiple team needs in a fast-paced marketing environment.
  • Continuous Improvement Mindset – Looks for ways to improve processes, simplify reporting, and make marketing programs easier to plan, execute, and scale.

SUPERVISOR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Individual Contributor: working team member with no oversight of others and no management responsibilities.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • This position is subject to Sedentary Work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Sedentary work involved sitting most of the time. Walking and standing are required only occasionally.

  • This position is subject to the following physical activities: talking, hearing, typing and the use of hands, fingers or wrists in repetitive motions.

Visual Acuity

  • The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; expansive reading.

  • This position operates in a professional office or remote office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment.
