Senior Director, Head of Commercial Solution Marketing

Position Summary:

The Head of Commercial Solution Marketing leads a team of marketing business partners to develop solution-specific marketing for the Commercia segments, partnering with senior leadership to develop an integrated marketing strategy that drives awareness/consideration, generates demand and accelerates the sales process. This role will lead a team in the development, implementation and execution of the marketing plan, working collaboratively with the business, sales and shared services teams as well as other functions, and will be accountable for achievement of financial budget targets as well as leads, signings and pipeline targets.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in developing positioning/messaging, marketing content, demand generation programs and sales acceleration tools to increase our win rate. The candidate should have a strong grasp of contemporary marketing strategies, tools, and techniques. This role will work collaboratively and proactively with the business unit and sales leadership to define the marketing priorities and activities that accelerate the sales cycle.  Experience in account-based marketing, digital demand generation, content management, thought-leadership development, sales enablement and event management are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Key decision maker for campaign development, social media presence, paid media, thought leadership, content development, sales enablement and event presence.
  • Position Conduent as a technology-led business process solutions company that is perceived as an innovative market leader.
  • Maintain constant interlock with Business and Sales Leadership to set overall marketing plan that supports business strategy, incorporating client pain points and the outcomes our solutions enable to produce compelling, competitively advantaged value propositions for our solutions.
  • Develop, plan and execute high-impact marketing strategy, cross-functional initiatives and programs that generate high-quality leads and drive signings, pipeline and accelerate sales including new logos, account penetration, and renewals with ABM (1:Many, 1:1), campaigns and related programs.
  • Work closely with the subject matter experts to develop the content (presentations, demos, speaking engagements, etc), overall presence, messaging and signage, client engagement for industry events.
  • Work with account management on presentations, client visits, executive summaries, QBRs, vendor showcases, etc to support client engagements – focused on solving client pain points for specific accounts.
  • Develop and execute marketing / demand generation campaigns (emails, nurture campaigns, webinars, key words, digital display ads, etc) specific to the solutions to generate leads that convert to pipeline.
  • Develop appropriate sales-support materials including brochures, sell sheets, state profiles, website content, industry analyst presentations by working closely with SMEs to distill value propositions and reasons to believe that address client pain points.
  • Work with business experts to develop thought leadership pieces such as eBooks, blogs, white papers, messaging, etc that can be used on our website, social media and campaigns to demonstrate Conduent’s expertise.
  • Work with business and SMEs to develop sales training materials for solutions including solution presentations, battlecards, brochures, etc.
  • Utilize data to analyze marketing tactics for continuous improvement and spend optimization

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of business process services sectors and related marketing (buyer behavior, purchase cycles, trends, demand creation approaches, etc).
  • Bachelor’s degree required, MBA or advanced marketing degree, a plus.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in B2B marketing.
  • Proven leadership skills in effectively managing a team of marketing professionals with the ability to think strategically and motivate employees.
  • Collaborative team player with “can do” attitude, willing and able to actively contribute to the work itself, adaptable to fast-paced, changing environment; with ability to work closely and influence executive leadership and other stakeholders.
  • Highly creative with experience identifying target audiences and creating campaigns that engage, inform, and motivate buyers.
  • Must be strategic, detail-oriented, and proactive with strong verbal/written English-language communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of current marketing technology and social platforms.  Marketo, DemandBase, Salesforce.com with business acumen to drive continuous improvement.
  • Position can be remote or in Florham Park, NJ.
  • Travel:  approximately 10% of the time to meet business requirements.
