[Hiring] Senior Database Administrator at BHG Financial

What You’ll Do

• • Database administration – Tuning, installing, and configuring database servers. Set up servers for the database environment- Including Packageion and Non-production. Practical knowledge and support – Including installations, modifications to application databases.
  • SQL Clustering – SQL Always On administration.
  • Backup and recovery – Understanding point-in-time recovery and knowledge of backup and recovery tools. Understand how to establish an effective backup and disaster recovery solution.
  • Database performance – Proactively monitor health, backup, and fix and analyze broken SQL agent jobs.
  • Performance Tuning – Stored procedures and provide feedback on reviewing execution plans. Execution Plans – Troubleshooting poorly performed stored procedures, queries.
  • Ensuring data security – Best Practices following the least privilege model.
  • Data Masking – Dynamic and obfuscation.
  • SQL Cloud administration – Azure SQL, IAAS, and PAAS Support
  • Participate in some after-hours work and provide on-call support.

• • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years’ experience in database management, Always on Support.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365.
  • Team player and demonstrate the ability to communicate with business owners, end-users, and engineers.
