Job Description
As a Senior Data Analyst, you aren’t just reporting on the past; you are predicting the future and influencing the bottom line. We are seeking a strategic thinker who can move beyond data extraction to provide sophisticated modeling, mentor junior staff, and lead high-stakes optimization projects.
This role requires a high degree of autonomy and the ability to navigate the complex intersection of healthcare policy, clinical operations, and financial performance.
Responsibilities:
Strategic Modeling: Build and manage complex financial models to evaluate the impact of new payer contracts, fee schedule changes, and payer denials
Advanced Root-Cause Analysis: Lead deep-dive investigations into systemic revenue leakage. You will be responsible for identifying multi-variable trends that cause underpayments or recurring denials.
Executive Storytelling: Translate granular data into high-level strategic insights for the Executive Leadership Team (CFO, COO, VP of Revenue Cycle).
Analytics Standardization and Insights: help develop and deliver reimagined RCM dashboards and using predictive analytics to solve business problems.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 5+ years in Healthcare Data Analytics with a heavy focus on the “back-end” of the revenue cycle.
- Mastery of Microsoft Excel, Power Pivot
Preferred Qualifications
- Mid-level SQL skills (CTE’s, Window Functions, Stored Procedures, and Query Optimization).
