Job Description

We are looking for a Salesforce Engineer with experience in Package Development Outsourcing (PDO) and custom application development. This role requires a proactive and customer-centric professional capable of working independently to deliver innovative solutions that meet client needs. The ideal candidate is comfortable adopting an AI-first approach to development and utilizing advanced tools to enhance productivity and solution quality.

We are searching for a US-based candidate only.
It’s a project fixed-term engagement, with possible extension and long-term.

Key Responsibilities

  • Salesforce Application Development: Develop applications on the Salesforce platform, including PDO app development for AppExchange and custom solutions for customer organizations.
  • AI-Driven Development: Apply AI tools to improve development efficiency and solution effectiveness in the coding process.
  • Code Quality Assurance: Maintain high-quality code through unit testing, code coverage best practices, and collaboration with QA Engineers to address bugs efficiently.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with Package Owners and customer stakeholders to clarify user stories, align with business objectives, and deliver optimal solutions.
  • Proactive Client Engagement: Engage with customers to understand their challenges and contribute to effective, tailored solutions.
  • Customer-Centric Approach: Be flexible with customer time zones and open to occasional travel for client collaboration.
  • Technical Guidance: Provide best practices and technical insights to help customers make informed implementation decisions.

Skills Knowledge and Expertise

  • Salesforce Development Experience: Hands-on experience developing applications on the Salesforce platform, including PDO app development and direct customer implementations.
  • AI Integration Proficiency: Exposure to AI-driven tools to enhance development processes and productivity.
  • Testing Practices: Experience writing and maintaining unit tests to ensure code reliability.
  • Agile Mindset: Comfortable working in an Agile environment, participating in ceremonies such as grooming, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
  • Effective Communication: Ability to collaborate with product owners, QA engineers, and stakeholders to align requirements clearly and deliver solutions.
  • Problem-Solving Ability: Capable of working independently, troubleshooting issues, and contributing to technical discussions with customers.
  • Customer-Focused Mindset: Willingness to adapt to customer time zones and engage in direct interactions as needed.
  • Salesforce Certifications: Preferred certifications include Platform Developer I or relevant credentials demonstrating Salesforce expertise.
  • Salesforce Technologies: Familiarity with Salesforce products such as Marketing Cloud, Customer Data Platform (Data Cloud), or Agentforce is a plus.
  • Industry Exposure: Experience working with industries such as Financial Services, Healthcare, Hospitality, or High Tech is advantageous.
