Profile Requirements:

  • Min 2.5 Years of Proven IT support experience, technical operations roles
  • Strong experience with Linux server administration (Ubuntu, CentOS, or similar)
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) administration
  • Familiarity with VMware virtualization, including ESXi and vCenter
  • Solid understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, routing, VPN, firewalls)
  • Experience supporting Windows Server, Active Directory, and domain services
  • Aptitude for AI tools and automation platforms; comfort learning new AI technologies
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Ability to document processes and maintain technical knowledge base
  • Comfortable working both independently and as part of a collaborative team

Core responsibilities:

  • Provide advanced technical support for internal systems, infrastructure, and end users
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex hardware, software, network, and systems issues escalated from Level 1 support
  • Administer and support Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) resources, including compute, networking, storage, identity, and security
  • Support and manage virtualization environments using VMware (ESXi, vCenter, clusters, VMs)
  • Administer Linux servers (deployment, patching, user management, services, logs, performance monitoring)
  • Assist with cloud administration tasks, including provisioning, scaling, monitoring, and cost optimization
  • Provide support for Windows Server environments, Active Directory, group policies, and domain services
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls across systems
  • Monitor system health, alerts, logs, and performance metrics; take corrective action when needed
  • Support backup and recovery operations (cloud or on-prem) and verify successful restores
  • Assist with network troubleshooting (routing, firewalls, VPNs, DNS, DHCP)
  • Document technical issues, resolutions, procedures, and knowledge base articles
  • Provide end-user support for desktops, laptops, peripherals, and business applications
