Union Home Mortgage is transforming the future of mortgage lending through its Future Mortgage Ecosystem strategy—a modern product platform designed to simplify operations, improve customer and employee experiences, and accelerate innovation across the mortgage lifecycle.
As a Package Manager, you will own one or more products or product capabilities within the Future Mortgage Ecosystem. Working closely with Package Owners, Package Designers, Engineering, and business stakeholders, you will define product strategy, prioritize investments, and deliver solutions that solve meaningful business and customer problems.
Whether focused on customer-facing experiences, operational workflows, AI-powered automation, loan origination, servicing, or enterprise capabilities, you will be responsible for ensuring your products deliver measurable value while supporting Union Home Mortgage’s strategic objectives.
This role is ideal for a product professional who has a strong understanding of the mortgage industry and enjoys solving complex business challenges through technology.

Key Responsibilities
Package Strategy & Vision
- Develop and communicate the vision, strategy, and roadmap for one or more products or product domains.
- Align product investments with organizational priorities, customer needs, and business objectives.
- Continuously evaluate market trends, competitive offerings, and emerging technologies to identify new opportunities.
Package Discovery
- Partner with business stakeholders, customers, and subject matter experts to understand challenges and identify opportunities.
- Validate product ideas using research, analytics, customer feedback, and business data.
- Translate strategic objectives into prioritized initiatives and measurable outcomes.
Roadmap Ownership
- Own the product roadmap and prioritize initiatives based on customer value, business impact, technical complexity, and strategic alignment.
- Make informed trade-off decisions while balancing short-term delivery with long-term product vision.
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Partner closely with Package Owners, Package Designers, Engineering, Architecture, Operations, Sales, Servicing, and Compliance throughout the product lifecycle.
- Ensure business objectives, customer needs, technical feasibility, and regulatory requirements remain aligned.
Agile Package Delivery
- Collaborate with Package Owners to ensure development teams have a prioritized backlog with clear business context.
- Participate in sprint planning, reviews, roadmap planning, and release planning.
- Remove blockers and facilitate effective decision-making throughout delivery.
Package Performance
- Define and monitor product KPIs and success metrics.
- Analyze adoption, operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and business outcomes.
- Continuously improve products based on quantitative data and qualitative feedback.
Stakeholder Communication
- Communicate product vision, roadmap, priorities, and progress to leadership and business stakeholders.
- Build alignment across multiple business units and technology teams.
Qualifications
What You’ll Bring
- 3–6 years of Package Management experience delivering technology products in an agile environment.
- Mortgage industry experience with a strong understanding of mortgage origination, underwriting, servicing, secondary marketing, operations, or related business functions.
- Demonstrated ability to define product strategy and execute product roadmaps.
- Experience partnering with Engineering, UX/Package Design, and business stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-informed decisions.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and product management tools such as Azure DevOps, or similar.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Loan Origination Systems (Encompass, nCino, etc.) or mortgage servicing platforms.
- Experience delivering AI-enabled, workflow automation, or digital transformation initiatives.
- Familiarity with customer journey mapping, design thinking, or service design methodologies.
- Experience with product analytics and experimentation.
- CSPO, SAFe POPM, Pragmatic Institute, or similar product certifications.
