[Hiring] Mandatory Internship, Psychology / Business Development at PsyCurio

We are PsyCurio, a HealthTech startup that is rethinking psychotherapy with virtual reality. We are building a VR-supported therapy infrastructure that relieves the burden on therapists in their daily clinical practice and gives patients access to structured, effective, and modern exercises, for example, for anxiety disorders, addictions, or other mental health challenges.

Our goal is clear: Psychotherapeutic care should become more accessible, measurable, and scalable. For patients, for therapists, and for a healthcare system that needs new solutions instead of just managing longer waiting lists.

Depending on your background and current projects, you will support us with, among other things:

• Research on psychological, clinical, and digital health topics
• the further development of psychological content, VR scenarios and materials
• Package and UX questions regarding the application for therapists and patients
• Evaluations, studies, questionnaires or analyses
• Market, competitive and potential analyses
• Business cases, presentations and pitch materials
• Communication with partners, clinics, science or startup networks
• operational topics in research, product, marketing, operations, business development or communication
• identifying issues that are currently holding us back and helping to remove them from the way
• Behind-the-scenes tasks that aren’t always visible, but make a real difference to the team

• You are in the middle of studying psychology, health sciences, human factors, business administration, management, marketing, entrepreneurship, health management, or something similar.
• You’re looking for a mandatory internship where you don’t just sit around, but really get involved.
• Digital health, MedTech, mental health, VR or modern psychotherapy sound incredibly exciting to you.
• You are someone who thinks ahead, asks good questions, and wants to make things better.
• Structure, independence and reliability are totally your thing.
• You can quickly understand complex content and clearly get to the point.
• You like to speak openly, are a team player and are not afraid to take on responsibility.
• German and English? No problem for you.
• Your resume doesn’t have to be perfect. Energy, self-motivation, and genuine interest are much more important.

At PsyCurio, you’ll truly immerse yourself in the world of a HealthTech startup that combines psychology, VR, and business development. You’ll work on topics directly relevant to psychotherapeutic care and gain insights into product development, strategy, and team decisions.

The internship is unpaid. In return, you’ll experience the fast pace of a startup, take on responsibility from day one, and contribute your own ideas. Communication is direct, you won’t just be sitting in meetings, but actually making a difference.

You’ll work entirely remotely with us and can complete the internship full-time for up to three months, or part-time for a correspondingly longer period. Thesis or project work is also possible by arrangement. If it’s a good fit for both sides, we’d be happy to discuss further collaboration, for example, as a working student.
