[Hiring] Senior Data Scientist at Innovaccer

We are looking for a Senior Data Scientist who understands healthcare data and can leverage the data to build algorithms to personalize treatments based on the clinical and behavioral history of patients. We are looking for a superstar who will define and build the next generation of predictive analytics tools in healthcare

A Day in the Life

• Design and lead the development of various artificial intelligence initiatives to help improve health and wellness of patients
• Work with the business leaders and customers  to understand their pain-points and build large-scale solutions for them.
• Define technical architecture to productize Innovaccer’s machine-learning algorithms and take them to market with partnerships with different organizations
• Proven ability to break down complex business problems into machine learning problems and design solution workflows.
• Work with our data platform and applications team to help them successfully integrate the data science capability or algorithms in their product/workflows.
• Work with development teams to build tools for repeatable data tasks that will accelerate and automate development cycle.
• Stay updated on advancements in AI/ML technologies and apply them to enhance existing systems.

 What You Need

• Preferably Masters in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or other relevant fields (PhD Preferred)
• 3+ years of experience in Data Science (healthcare experience will be a plus)
• Has proven experience in statistical and classical machine learning techniques and possess a customer-focused attitude through conversations and documentation
• Strong hands-on experience in Python – building enterprise applications along with optimization techniques.
• Proficiency  in crafting and optimizing SQL queries [Experience with Snowflake preferred]
• Should have hands-on experience with deep learning frameworks.
  • Pytorch
  • HuggingFace transformers

• Deep experience in classical and new age NLP techniques – must have either trained or fine tuned  a transformer architecture from scratch. [Experience with T5 preferred]
• Understanding new age fine tuning techniques like PEFT [experience with LoRA and QLoRA preferred]

• Has worked on distributed GPU training architectures
• Demonstrate experience with global and local model explainability using LIME, SHAP and associated techniques.
• Hands on experience with at least one ML platform from amongst Databricks, Azure ML, Sagemaker
• Good to have – Hands on experience in API frameworks leveraging their capabilities for developing robust web applications. [Experience with either FastAPI or Django preferred]
• Good to have – Comfortable with AWS cloud technologies
