Head of Communications & Content
We’re looking for a Head of Communications & Content to lead and scale our global content and communications strategy—ensuring consistent, compelling messaging across every audience, channel, and team.
This role is central to how we tell our story to the world. You’ll oversee everything from media and analyst relations to internal communications and content operations. You’ll also build the systems that unify messaging across functions, driving alignment between marketing, product, sales, customer success, and leadership.
You’ll start as a senior individual contributor with vendor support and strategic oversight, with the opportunity to scale the function and build a high-impact team over time.
What you’ll do
Strategic Communications & Content Leadership
- Media Relations: Drive earned coverage through strategic press outreach, newsjacking, storytelling, and thought leadership.
- Analyst & Influencer Relations: Lead structured engagement programs with industry analysts and independent influencers to shape perception, expand reach, and drive credibility across categories.
- Executive Visibility: Partner with our leadership team on speaking engagements, social presence, and bylined content.
- Social Media: Own organic social strategy across corporate channels and support amplification by key executives.
Content Ownership, Scale & Repurposing
- Content Oversight: Manage planning, creation, and quality of all content formats—video, blog, long-form, webinars, and social—via cross-functional teams and external partners.
- AI-Driven Scale: Use generative AI tools to accelerate content production, improve targeting, and drive operational efficiency.
- Content Repurposing: Build a repeatable system that turns core assets into many derivative pieces tailored to channel and audience.
- Editorial Standards: Act as editor-in-chief, maintaining voice, tone, and narrative consistency across all outputs.
GTM Messaging & Content Strategy
- Market & ICP Messaging Strategy: Collaborate with product marketing and GTM teams to build tailored messaging frameworks and content strategies for each Ideal Customer Profile (ICP), vertical, and new market—ensuring alignment across product, sales, and marketing.
- Growth Marketing Support: Own content creation that fuels demand generation—developing SEO-driven content, landing pages, campaign copy, and educational resources that drive pipeline and conversion.
- Cross-Functional Content Execution: Serve as the connective tissue between marketing, product, and sales to ensure content consistently supports GTM motions, product launches, and market expansion.
Insights, Awards & Market Monitoring
- Awards & Speaking: Lead award submission and speaking engagement strategies to reinforce leadership and credibility.
- Market Monitoring: Track media coverage, analyst reports, influencer activity, and competitor moves to inform positioning and surface opportunities.
Internal Comms, Advocacy & Brand
- Internal Communications: Lead internal communications programs to inform and align global teams around business priorities and culture.
- Employee Advocacy: Build programs that turn employees into amplifiers of our message, culture, and content, especially on social media.
- Employer Brand: Collaborate with People & Culture to position the company as an employer of choice, through storytelling, social, and digital assets.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in B2B tech communications, content, or PR (agency or in-house)
- Proven experience leading global content and communications strategies
- Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills; native-level English
- Strong background in messaging development, editorial leadership, and content operations
- A love for PR, analyst, and influencer relations
- Hands-on experience scaling content with repurposing systems and AI tools
- Demonstrated success supporting product marketing and growth marketing teams
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills across time zones and business units
- Background in SaaS, unified communications, fintech, or compliance – a plus
