RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

• Develop, train, validate, and implement Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence models in a production environment;
• To work across the entire data science project lifecycle, from data collection, cleaning, and preparation to modeling, evaluation, and deployment;
• Utilize tools and frameworks such as Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, pandas, and numpy for developing solutions;
• Implement and monitor MLOps pipelines, ensuring the scalability, reproducibility, and quality of the models;
• Working with cloud computing (AWS, Azure, or GCP) for provisioning and managing processing and storage resources;
• Perform queries and analyses on relational and NoSQL databases;
• Apply mathematical and statistical principles (linear algebra, calculus, probability, and optimization) to build robust solutions;
• Ensure good practices for versioning, documentation, and monitoring of models in production;
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to identify opportunities for applying AI/ML and transform business demands into data-driven solutions;
• To contribute to the technical development of the team by sharing knowledge and guiding best practices in data science.

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related fields;
• Proven experience in developing AI/ML solutions and production-ready Machine Learning projects;
• Advanced proficiency in Python and libraries such as scikit-learn, pandas, and numpy;
• Solid experience with deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow and/or PyTorch);
• Experience in cloud computing environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP);
• Knowledge of MLOps and best practices for deploying, monitoring, and maintaining production models;
• Experience with SQL and relational and NoSQL databases;
• English for technical reading and professional-level communication;
• Solid mathematical foundation: linear algebra, calculus, statistics, probability, and optimization.

DIFFERENTIALS

• Master’s or Doctorate degree in related fields;
• Experience with Kubernetes and Docker;
• Knowledge of NLP (Natural Language Processing);
• Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, or GCP);
• Scientific publications or contributions to open source projects.
