This is a remote position.
We are seeking a Customer Account Data Entry Specialist to maintain accurate customer account records across our CRM/ERP systems. You’ll support account setup, profile updates, and data quality checks that help sales, billing, and customer service operate smoothly.
Responsibilities
- Create new customer accounts and enter required profile details
- Update contact information, billing/shipping addresses, and account notes
- Maintain customer terms, tax documentation fields, and required identifiers (as applicable)
- Validate account data for completeness and formatting consistency
- Identify and merge duplicates; correct inaccurate or outdated records
- Upload and link supporting documents to the correct customer record
- Support customer service/sales teams with account information requests
- Maintain logs of updates and follow documentation standards
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1–2 years experience in data entry, customer records, or CRM administration preferred
- Strong proficiency with spreadsheets and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
