Job Description

Role Overview:

We’re looking for an Email Marketing Executive to take ownership of email campaign delivery and scheduling across our Fintel Services division. This is a hands-on role where you’ll build, test and deploy email campaigns while coordinating a busy email calendar serving multiple audiences, brands and business areas.

Working closely with marketing, CRM, data and commercial teams, you’ll help ensure our communications are targeted, well-timed and deliver value to customers. You’ll also have the opportunity to improve processes, explore automation and AI, and play a key role in evolving how email marketing operates across the business.

What’s in it for you?

  • Take ownership of a critical marketing channel used across a wide range of businesses and audiences.
  • Join a supportive, collaborative marketing operations team with opportunities to learn and develop.
  • Play a key role in improving customer communications and marketing effectiveness.
  • Gain exposure to CRM, automation, audience strategy and marketing technology projects.
  • Hybrid working with regular collaboration days in our Huddersfield office.

What you’ll do

  • Manage and maintain the central email marketing schedule across Fintel Services.
  • Build, test, schedule and deploy email campaigns across multiple brands and audiences.
  • Coordinate campaign activity with internal stakeholders and manage changes to schedules and priorities.
  • Monitor audience overlap and contact frequency to help improve the customer experience.
  • Work closely with CRM and data colleagues on audience selection, segmentation and targeting.
  • Create, manage and optimise automated email journeys and nurture programmes.
  • Ensure all communications are quality checked, tested and delivered accurately.
  • Monitor campaign performance and use insights to improve engagement and conversion.

What you’ll need to succeed:

Essential requirements:
  • At least 12 months’ hands-on email marketing experience.
  • Experience building and deploying email campaigns within an email marketing platform.
  • Understanding of audience segmentation and email marketing best practice.
  • Campaign performance data and reporting
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance
Desirable requirements:
  • Experience using ClickDimensions, Mailchimp, Dotdigital or similar email marketing platforms.
  • Experience managing email schedules or marketing campaign calendars.
  • Knowledge of marketing automation and customer journey development.
  • Exposure to CRM systems and data-driven marketing.
  • Experience working within a multi-brand organisation.
  • Interest in emerging marketing technology, automation and AI tools
Your approach:
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders.
  • Proactive mindset with a willingness to suggest improvements and challenge existing ways of working.
