What You’ll Deliver

• Precision in UX and Technical Content. Adapt complex software interfaces and support documentation with total accuracy, ensuring terminological rigor and a seamless experience for native Mongolian users.
• Impactful Marketing Localization. Transform global campaigns and brand voices to hit home in the Mongolian market, maintaining the original creative spirit while maximizing local relevance.
• Polished Package and E-commerce Copy. Localize product and UI listings applying regional naming logic and formatting standards.
• Brand Integrity and Quality Assurance. Uphold elite quality benchmarks to provide engaging, audience-centric content aligned with brand identity.
• Agile Team Collaboration. Coordinate with our production and quality leads to execute high-stakes projects on schedule and within client specifications.

   

Qualifications

• Native-level proficiency in Mongolian.
• A graduate qualification in translation, linguistics, or language studies, OR a graduate qualification in another field plus 2 years of full-time professional translation experience, OR 5 years of full-time professional translation experience.
• The ability to follow terminology and reference materials precisely.
• Proven professional experience in translation and localization within marketing, UI/software, or e-commerce content.
• Experience with app or platform localization (mobile UI, social media, or web content) preferred.

What to Consider Before Applying

• Not ideal as a full-time job or primary income source. Work availability fluctuates with project demand; as a 1099 contractor, you won’t receive benefits such as health insurance, paid time off, or retirement contributions, and hours are not guaranteed.
• Requires reliable availability and commitment. Most tasks require a minimum of 2 hours per day or 10 hours per week.
• Geographic restrictions may apply. We cannot engage contractors in regions subject to international embargo or sanctions. As a 1099 contractor, you are solely responsible for your own tax obligations.
