Job Description

As we continue to enhance our IT infrastructure and software capabilities, we are seeking highly skilled professionals to join our team in various key roles. Each position plays a crucial part in maintaining and advancing our environment, ensuring seamless operations and robust support for CECOM personnel worldwide.

This position supports data analysis and SAP HANA database administration efforts under ASRC Federal’s CECOM SETA Support within the PEO EIS MSP. The PEO EIS MSP ensures that the U.S. Army’s data and databases are efficiently managed and secure. As a Data Analyst Senior (SAP HANA DBA), you will be responsible for managing SAP HANA databases, ensuring their performance, reliability, and security while supporting data sourcing, integration, and analysis tasks.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university in business management, marketing, administration, information technology, or a closely related field. An advanced degree is preferred.
  • 5 years minimum experience working with data, including data sourcing, data analysis, and data integration, within the last 7 years.
  • 3 years minimum professional business experience developing Tableau applications, dashboards, and data models within the last 5 years. This experience may be concurrent with the above experience.
  • Strong SQL skills to query SAP HANA (SQL) databases.
  • 2 years of experience with data analysis tools like Alteryx is preferred.
  • 2 years minimum Business Intelligence experience, including experience with data sourcing, data integration, and data quality projects within the last 5 years. This experience may be concurrent with the above experience.
  • Experience analyzing and defining business processes and documentation that need IT solutions.
  • Ability to work with minimal direction and focus on delivering results in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
  • Active DoD Secret clearance or higher. Candidates without a minimum of a Secret clearance will not be considered.

Required Skills:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a SAP HANA Database (DB) administrator.
  • Exposure to different remote access options in HANA systems.
  • Experience in monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting SAP HANA systems.
  • Experience in HANA system administration using SAP HANA Cockpit and HANA Studio.
  • Experience in managing users and roles in SAP HANA systems.
  • Proficiency in implementing SAP HANA Table management techniques, including data compression, table partitioning, compression techniques, and loading/unloading tables into memory, as well as HANA Installation, Data Provisioning, Admin, and Modeling.
  • Familiarity with SAP BusinessObjects, HANA integration, and design documentation.
  • Experience with high availability and backup mechanisms.
  • Experience implementing SAP HANA Security mechanisms, HANA XS Application services, and monitoring HANA systems.

Desired Skills:

  • Knowledge of ERP SAP environments.
  • Working knowledge of DevSecOps.
  • Working knowledge of ServiceNow.
  • Experience working in an Agile Framework environment.
