Project Name: - Migration of database on SharePoint to the on-promise cloud Description: - Emirates Global Aluminum (“EGA”), for the opportunity to participate in the Migrate SharePoint On-Premises to Cloud RFQ and is very excited to respond to it. We have mobilized a multifunctional team to prepare our response and spent considerable time analyzing the RFQ to understand your specific requirements. We understand EGA's current SharePoint applications, which are still On-Premises and are required to move to Cloud (MyEGA and Azure). The application should work as expected in MyEGA anytime, anywhere, and on any device. Role and Responsibilities: - • Provide database life cycle support for mission critical database Servers using various database tools. • Improve performance of databases and ensure systems & processes are compliant with regulatory requirements and company policies • Administers all database objects, including tables, indexes, views, sequences, packages, and procedures. • Perform data migration from existing database to new database and verify the migrated data. • Perform database tuning as well as complex Query and Complex task and it’s monitoring. • Proficient in PowerShell scripting for task automation, system configuration, and administration. • Create SQL or ETL scripts or using SQL tools to help ease production operations and any data migrations. • Monitor and analyses database activity to proactively identify and prevent potential Incidents and recommend performance improvements.
